Five large canvases painted from the same window between midnight and three, over one winter.

About this series

The window faces a car park and a road. Between midnight and three the road is empty for minutes at a time, and then one car crosses the wall of the room in about four seconds. These are paintings of those four seconds.

They were painted in order, and they hang in order.
